校友会一年一度的新春聚会活动将于2017年2月12日星期日在Hyatt Regency Jersey City on Hudson举办，校友会诚挚地邀请您偕家人和朋友前来参加我们自己的春节大联欢，再会老朋友，结识新朋友，共同欢庆农历鸡年的到来!

在此次新春聚会中，我们还将同时召开纽约校友会2016年年会。校友会相关负责人将向各位会员校友做2016年工作总结和2017年工作安排的汇报。此外校友会还邀请了多位重量级校友嘉宾出席春节聚会，其中潘梅青校友（809，Model Validation Officer at AIG）和陈林源校友（842，Managing Director at Morgan Stanley）已确定出席并将作为演讲嘉宾给我们带来精彩的演讲（嘉宾详细信息请看附录）。

潘梅青 David (Meiqing) Pan (809)
Model Validation Officer at AIG
David is an actuary (FSA, MAAA) with solid knowledge and experience in the area of product development, valuation, asset/liability management, financial reporting and risk management. He is a model validation officer at AIG, responsible for validating actuarial models deployed in the company’s life andretirement business. Prior to AIG, he was an Investment SVP at Prudential, responsible for market risk management and oversight of the company’s variable annuity hedging program. Prior to Prudential, he worked for MetLife and Equitable in a number of actuarial roles, including Chief Actuary of United MetLife Insurance Company in Shanghai before the company merged with Sino-US. MetLife Insurance Company. David holds MS in Economics and Mechanical Engineering from SUNY, and BE from USTC (809).
陈林源 Patrick (Linyuan) Chen (842)
Managing Director at Morgan Stanley
Patrick is currently a Managing Director in Model Risk Management at Morgan Stanley. He has been globally responsible for model validation and model risk management for all front-office pricing models, risk and capital models, and CCAR/DFAST models across the firm since 2009.
Patrick has had 21 years of work experience in various quantitative modeling and risk management capacities in financial industry since 1996. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2009, Patrick worked as a SVP, Head of Counterparty Credit Risk/CVA Analytics and Country/Emerging Market Risk Analytics, and Head of Operational Risk Analytics, at Lehman Brothers (2005-09), as a Director at Merrill Lynch (2000-05), as a senior desk quant at Barclays Capital (1997-2000), and Bank of America (1996-97).
Patrick earned a B.S. degree in Physics from University of Science and Technology of China (1989). He successfully passed CUSPEA (China-U.S. Physics Examination & Application) in 1988, ranked among top 10 in the nation. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Theoretical Physics from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1994). He worked as postdoctoral research fellow at The Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics at Santa Barbara (1994-96).
